“There are so many homelands that make their home in me.”
I’m a technical writer with many years of experience in writing, editing, and publishing developer documentation. My professional background includes teaching English as a foreign language, and my academic background is in Central-Eastern European studies and American literature.
In the writing, photography, drawing, and music I pursue in my spare time, I explore the relationships between memory, forgetting, and migration. For more background, see Lethtechnique.
Originally from Canton, Ohio, USA, I’ve spent more than half my life abroad, with early years in Brazil and Japan, and recent years in The Netherlands and Poland. I’m currently based in Kraków, where I live with my wife and daughter.
